Client Spotlight: Elizabeth Thompson Agency

At Elizabeth Thompson Agency, their mission is to help clients manage their insurance needs and navigate life’s unexpected challenges.

Thompson’s insurance expertise covers multiple types of insurance, including Medicare, health, home, business, life, automobile, trucking, and more

She got into the field while looking into insurance for herself and her son twenty years ago, and has owned her own agency for the past eight.

Although she has expertise in many different insurance areas, it’s currently Medicare season, and she is actively assisting her clients by helping them navigate through that program.

Medicare is a federal program, and is part of what taxes go to. Most people get it at age 65, but some people—like those who are on dialysis, for example—can get it at a younger age. In other cases, those who have been on disability for two years can get it as well.

“Medicare does not take care of everything,” Thompson said. “That’s where what I do comes in.” Thompson helps her clients by offering supplements and Medicare advantage plans, and assisting with Medicare navigation.

“I’m always going to be that person that you call,” she said.

Medicare can be difficult, and there are a lot of intricacies like penalties and additional programs that can be confusing.

Thompson’s agency provides straightforward and personal, caring service. She is enthusiastic about educating and helping her clients to alleviate their stress, for not only Medicare but also other insurance needs.

Thompson is currently based in Riverdale, GA, but is currently licensed in 17 states, including Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Maryland, Arizona, Illinois, and Texas, but she is hoping to expand her business by being licensed in 25 states. She is also looking to expand her staff of licensed professionals.

She can be found online at her website, as well as on Facebook
