After making the “right choices”—like pursuing higher education and finding a good job—Ini OluAlakija noticed an issue.
While he was making $160,000 a year, he was $300,000 in debt, leaving very little room to enjoy life outside of work. Realizing he’d need to do more than his current job to live the life he wanted, he created mylifeordebt.
OluAlakija considers himself an entrepreneur and has always run side businesses to build wealth outside his primary income. But funding those ventures shouldn’t mean taking on more debt along the way.
Using BillboardsIn was mylifeordebt’s first big step into outdoor advertising, after primarily relying on social media ads. With a new headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, OluAlakija wanted to make sure his community knew about the platform.
It’s also important to him that people know he’s equipped to help, “even if you’ve been denied in the past. I’ve been there before and I can help you.”
